After returning to Baltimore, Annie goes to New York to meet Walter for Valentine's Day. Sam recognizes Annie from the airport and says "hello" but Annie only responds with "hello" before leaving. The next day she goes again to Sam's houseboat but when she sees Sam's sister Suzy with him, she mistakenly assumes Suzy is his girlfriend.
