Obviously you cannot integrate this with any triggers or automation, but I have a permanent screen that remains connected to audio and ST via action tiles. A bit of a cheat, but works well and is really easy to setup. Just design you tiles around it and it feels like an integrated player.

You will notice the google music player overlaps the full screen and holds full functionality. Open the actiontiles via a new tab, login and run full screen The music you are casting should now run via your chromecast (check this)ģ. use casting extension to cast music on tab to your chromecast (audio) device. Search for the official google play music player extension. Use chrome browser and go to your extensions. Perhaps cheating here a bit, but you can get a Google play music control visible on your full screen actiontile.ġ. I would just give up and wait for 20 minutes or an hour, and it would work again!! Does it have to do with iPhone Safari browser’s caching mechanism? Is this iOS or Safari limitation? Does anyone have similar experience? Is there a way to fix it to make it 100% working and reliable?īelow are 2 screen captures: the 1st is to show the times that don’t load the images. Then I would try again and again, it would continue to show nothing. Then, It would work for few times or 10 times, and when I go back, the images would NOT show up AGAIN. But if I wait for 20minutes or an hour, it would show up. I tried to swipe up and kill the browser. The frustrating part is I have tested many different ways, I could not figure out the pattern why 50% of the time would fail. But when it doesn’t work, all I see is “blanks” for all cameras. When it works, all cameras’ images would refresh every few seconds, which is what I want. But the Panel often fails to display any image from any cameras.

I use iPhone X running iOS 13.2 The GIF still images stream feeds every 4 to 5 seconds from Hikvision NVR off of 6 cameras.

It supports Windows XP and later, and can also be compiled as-is to run on Linux too. The program can auto-launch on login, minimize to tray, and will remember your settings and numbers of images displayed each time you start.īIS is a small (~600K) standalone, multi-threaded executable: no installation is required and it doesn't depend on any other system files or DLLs. Thumbnails show you which images are being served. You can specify different folders for each IP address connected through easy UI controls. The process then repeats itself for subsequent image requests. Those images are then shuffled and never repeated–on a per client connection basis–until all images have been displayed once. You provide a recursively processed folder containing the images to display. I was looking for a solution that guaranteed each image would be displayed at least once before any repeats.īyteCave Image Server (BIS) is a FREE open-source mini webserver that sends a random image to your browser when a client sends any GET request. ActionPixx ( ) does a good job with this (and a lot of other stuff too!), but it repeats images.

If you are in a similar situation, you looked for a method to return a random image from a specified folder in response to an http request.

I have several tablets mounted to my walls, each displaying a slideshow using ActionTiles. Apologies if this kind of post isn't allowed admin, please delete if so.
